Project Description San Bernardino County is advancing the development of the Probation Field Operations Building, a modern and strategically designed facility that will serve as a critical hub for the County's adult probation field operations. This new 78,904-square-foot, multi-story building is intended to be located at the southeast corner of the County's government campus, near W. 3rd Avenue and N. Sierra Way. The objective of the Project is to leverage excellence in design and planning to maximize operational efficiency, enhance security, optimize building systems performance and energy efficiency, and create a healthy workplace environment to support current needs and future growth while maintaining the highest standards of quality in alignment with County requirements. The Project will include administrative offices, specialized probation units, training spaces, and secure staff areas, along with a public-facing lobby and client intake rooms. The site will feature secured and unsecured parking, secure perimeter controls, and infrastructure upgrades to support safe and efficient operations. As of August 24, 2026, the design/builder is currently finalizing schematic designs, environmental permitting, and a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP).
