The project consists of a small new building addition, reroofing of multiple buildings, exterior renovations, sitework, canopies, paving and MEP work located at two sites, Browning Elementary School, 505 Herrington Drive, Springhill, LA 71075, and Brown Upper Elementary School, 804 4 th Street SW, Springhill, LA 71075. All work is located on the two existing campus properties. The project is anticipated to be a lump sum Base Bid, plus One (1) additive Alternate Proposal. This job is to be completed within 330 calendar days. Sitework: a. Browning Elementary School: Sitework generally consists of clearing, grubbing, grading, erosion control, concrete drives, parking and walks, surface and subsurface drainage, grassing, fencing and utility systems. Construction of a new entrance cover in Base Bid, and walkway covers in Alternate No. 1. b. Brown Upper Elementary School: Sitework generally consists of clearing, grubbing, grading, erosion control, concrete walks and utility pads, surface and subsurface drainage, grassing, fencing, and utility systems. Construction of new walkway covers and canopies. 3. Construction/Renovation: a. Browning Elementary School: i. Renovations include reroofing of the original buildings with single-ply system, fascia repair/replacement as scheduled, enclosure of overhangs with wood framing and metal panels, replacement of windows with aluminum storefront windows, and painting of the concrete block wing addition on the south. b. Brown Upper Elementary School: i. New Cafeteria Handwash Room E102 addition. ii. Renovations include Cafeteria window closures, HVAC and electrical revisions, reroofing and painting. iii. Other campus renovations include reroofing of scheduled buildings with single-ply system, roof decj, soffit and fascia repair/replacement as scheduled, exterior painting of all painted buildings.
