Reference Number 0000299484 Each year, Ontario Northland Transportation Commission (ONTC), undertakes a rail upgrade program in order to provide safe and reliable train services across northeastern Ontario and northwestern Quebec. For the year 2025, ONTC requires 21,200 feet of new 115 lb. RE, High Strength rail, 370 HB per A.R.E.M.A. chapter 4. Rail shall be supplied and delivered in 80 foot strings of rail. The ends of the 80 foot rails shall be blank. Copies of all tests conducted and quality assurance information to be forwarded at time of shipping or invoicing. Delivery of new rails shall be via rail car to Englehart, ON. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
