Renovation of a municipal facility in North Bay, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Reference Number 0000301319 Work to be completed by Contractor: Remove old flooring on all levels. Remove asbestos containing tiles. Remove existing ductwork and furnace and discard. Remove hot water tank and discard. Remove staircase and build/install new. New flooring and baseboard. Concrete slab to be leveled prior to installing flooring. New concrete pad in front of main entrance door. New front door with AODA compliant opener. Door FOB access compatible with ONTC system. Remove wall panels on main level. Remove walls as per drawing. Note an opening is to be made in the structural block wall on the main floor. Remove all windows and replace. Add new windows. Lower window height on main level. Run all new plumbing including new sewer pipes from the city connection and throughout the building. Remove brick facia, canopy, exterior signs, and unfinished back overhang. The roof overhang at the back to be finished with sofit and facia. Build new walls and install drywall. Finish all walls. Paint all surfaces. Install new electrical outlets, dimmable light switches, faceplates, lighting. Install new electrical panels and work with North Bay hydro to upgrade electrical service. Run network cables for each workstation, printer, security camera, PA speaker, and meeting room TV. Terminate all cables. (TVs, computers, printers, and workstation furniture to be supplied and installed by ONTC or an ONTC representative. Note cameras and speakers only require network cable connection.) Contractor to work with ONTC and furniture supplier to ensure all workstations have un-impeded access to electrical outlets and network drops. Network and power cables to be run under the floor and connected to the two boardroom tables so there are no cable tripping hazards. Supply and install wall mounts for two (2) boardroom 75-inch TVs. Supply and install recessed entertainment box in the wall behind where each TV is to be located. (Leviton model #47617-021 or equivalent) Install (2) security cameras on front of building, (2) security cameras on back of building, and (1) security camera on Worthington side of building (ONTC to supply cameras and mounting hardware). The end being installed in the camera to be terminated with a male RJ45 connector. Cameras to be mounted as high as possible to sofit. Install IT rack or cabinet supplied by ONTC. Contractor to supply patch panels as required. Install network lines for wireless access points, terminated with keystones and/or surface mount box. Network lines to be terminated with keystones, labeled, and tested. Wall plates or installation directly into desks will depend on furniture (and may require shorter keystones). Network room side to be installed into contractor provided patch panels. Contractor to supply BIX panels/racks and terminate. Install new HVAC system including ERVs. Pour concrete pad behind building as per drawing. New Washrooms including all fixtures. Emergency lighting and fire extinguishers.. Install and connect ceiling speakers for emergency announcements. ONTC to supply speakers. Install and connect emergency push buttons (ONTC to supply buttons). Buttons are connected using #22 AWG Copper 6 conductor wire. Complete building envelope as per drawing. Exterior lighting as per drawing. Reinforce roof truss as per drawing. Supply and connect two (2) 30 inch wide full size fridges with water filling spout. Landscaping around building including removal of all vegetation. Remove all garbage and old building materials. Positive grading around building on entire lot. Add gravel as required to all unpaved areas around the building.
