Contractor to provide all services to upgrade both HRSG B52 and B53 the AIG to a CECO (Peerless) Edge square-tube lance and install a sampling grid downstream of the catalyst to facilitate tuning. Additionally, all instrumentation and valves on the AIG are to be upgraded or replaced. A more detailed description of the Work is provided in the Technical Specifications included as an Exhibit to this Solicitation. All Reponses shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount stated on the Response Form. The bid security must be furnished by the Respondent at or before the opening of the Responses. The bid security shall either be issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Florida, or Respondent shall furnish a certified check or cashier's check in the amount of five percent of the total amount shown on the Response Form. The JEA Bid Bond form can be found at jea.com. Failure to furnish the required bid security will disqualify the Response. The Payment and Performance Bond requirements may be less than the full Contract amount. The Company should be aware that their bond premiums may be adjusted by their bonding company, if actual Work exceeds the amount of the bond, however, any increase in total premiums required will not be approved by JEA for any change in Contract price as either a change order or as an adjustment through the use of a Supplemental Work Authorization. Unless otherwise specified on the Bid Form, the Company shall be solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining the required Payment and Performance Bonds throughout the term of the Contract.
