The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit proposals for the resurfacing of the Kenwood Cove Aquatic Center wave pool, four catch pools and seven sets of stairs and one ramp around the lazy river with Diamond Brite or equal, tile, caulking, and all related finishes. General Scope of Work 1.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for and provide all labor, materials, equipment, accessories, etc. as required to complete the resurfacing of the wave pool, four catch pools, seven sets of stairs and one ramp, tile, caulking, and all related finishes at Kenwood Cove Aquatic Center per the Contract Documents. Please see provided map of the scope of work. 1.2 The project includes portions of the lazy river but not the lazy river channel itself. Total surface area of the project is approximately 10,000 sq. feet. The project has varying depths from 0 ft. to 3.6 ft. 1.3 The surface preparation products or processes used will be applied in accordance with the instructions provided by the manufacturer. 1.4 Provide an on-site supervisor during contracted work. 1.5 The Contractor shall be responsible to repair or maintain existing conditions of fencing, asphalt, lawn and sidewalk. 1.6 The Contractor shall be responsible to obtain and pay for all licenses and permits which may be required to comply fully with laws, ordinances and regulations of the proper public authorities, in connection with the performance of this Work. 1.7 This is a turnkey project. The Contractor shall specify in its Proposal the name of each subcontractor and the object and details of all the subcontractors it proposes to enter into with each of them. The subcontractor will be expected to meet the same standards and quality of work as those required from the Contractor. The Contractor will be held responsible for all aspects of the Work carried out by the subcontractor and suppliers. The City retains the right to approve all subcontractors.
