Reference Number 0000394533 Bid Intent Not Available Scope: The St. Vrain Greenway is a multimodal trail extending from the City of Longmont's Golden Ponds Nature Area to Sandstone Ranch Nature Area, linking a variety of parks, schools, other trails, and businesses along its 8-mile length. It is part of the Front Range Trail plan, a regional trail system that will one day run from Wyoming to New Mexico. The primary work to be performed under this contract includes construction of a greenway trail to the existing St. Vrain Greenway, from Sandstone Ranch Nature Area to St. Vrain State Park (approximately 2.2 miles). This work will include the construction of sections of concrete bikeway and crusher-fines trail, a 170-foot three-span prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge, cast-in-place concrete box culvert underpass beneath CO 119 including a stormwater lift station, a 240-foot single span prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge over St. Vrain Creek, fencing, erosion control, and landscaping. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. Minimum Qualifications: Contractor must be fully qualified for work requested under this bid and meet or exceed the following requirements: Contractor must have completed at least three (3) qualifying projects of similar scope and complexity to this project within the last 7 years. Qualifying projects must have been performed for federal, state or local government agencies. Contractor must be prequalified with the State of Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) The Contractor's project management team (project manager and job site superintendents) must have experience constructing a similar trail, bridges, and underpass within the last 5 years.
