Reference Number 0000394066 Bid Intent Optional Bid Intent Deadline 08/04/2025 02:00 PM EDT The City of Longmont is requesting proposals for the epoxy lining of an 8" Schedule 80 PVC pipe. The pipe is approximately 250 feet in length and is buried under approximately 4 feet of soil and a concrete pool deck. Both ends of the pipe are accessible. The pipe has developed cracks and requires internal sealing to prevent leakage. The selected contractor will be responsible for: 1. Inspect the interior of the 8" PVC pipe to assess current condition and prepare for lining. 2. Clean and prep the interior of the pipe for epoxy application. 3. Apply a suitable epoxy coating to seal cracks and provide long-term protection. 4. Ensure full coverage along the entire 250 ft length. 5. Verify the integrity of the coating upon completion. Project Requirements 6. Contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work. 7. Contractor must comply with all local safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. 8. Worksite must be kept clean and restored to original condition upon completion. 9. Contractor must coordinate work with city staff and other contractors providing access (concrete removal and backfill will be handled separately).
