Renovation of a military facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
This project will provide backup power to the NMCI equipment room IT server racks and HVAC in Room S145 of B127 Taylor Hall, NAS Oceana Dam Neck Annex via a diesel stand-by generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS). To minimize the scale of the HVAC infrastructure requiring backup power, a computer room air conditioning (CRAC) unit will be installed to cool the NMCI equipment room and powered via the backup power system. This project will provide backup power to the NMCI equipment room IT server racks and HVAC in Room S145 of B127 Taylor Hall, NAS Oceana Dam Neck Annex via a diesel stand-by generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS). To minimize the scale of the HVAC infrastructure requiring backup power, a computer room air conditioning (CRAC) unit will be installed to cool the NMCI equipment room and powered via the backup power system. In addition, to limit loss of cooling to adjacent unconditioned spaces, interior improvements will be required including the addition of double-doors in an existing Room S145 opening Location: Room S145 of B127 Taylor Hall, NAS Oceana Dam Neck Annex. Estimated Budget Amount or Price Range: In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Pre-Proposal Inquiries (PPIs): PPIs must be submitted in writing on the attached Pre-Proposal Inquiry Form (ATTACHMENT F) to Jessica Grosso at jessica.m.grosso.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 12 August 2025 2:00 PM EDT. Time for completion: Contract completion date is 420 calendar days.
