The covered work consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision for performing all necessary operations required for proper execution of scope of work as listed on the attached bid. All questions or comments regarding this Bid must be in writing and emailed to bids@sweetwaterschools.org. All questions and/or requests must be received no later than August 15, 2025, before 1:00 p.m. Location: Chula Vista High School (Building 100), 820 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91911 _ This project shall include work during the weekends _ Any main water or gas line shut-off must be scheduled on a weekend and shall have the water/gas on by Monday morning before 5 a.m. _ Remove, haul away, and replace all exposed water lines marked on the drawings and/or painted on the pipes with white spray paint. _ All new water lines shall be copper type L. _ Install dielectric unions to connect pipes made from different metals. _ Install Nibco three-piece bronze ball valves with conventional ports (or equal to) on all tees and risers to isolate separate lines. _ Install hangers and pipe support every 2'-3' minimum and must comply with manufacture and code standards. _ Any exposed hot water lines must be removed and capped on the riser. _ Remove and replace water line manifold with three (3) Zurn model 48 (OS&Y GXF) gate valves (or equal to). _ Boiler Room: Cap three-inch gas line. Remove and haul away all marked in yellow gas lines, straps, hardware, and control panel. _ Install an isolation ball valve on each north and south end of the line of the 100 building. (Work scheduled September 18 - October 12, 2025) All work must be completed by October 12, 2025.
