The Wildwood Park District, Wildwood, Illinois requests sealed bids to provide and install ADA compliant asphalt paths in Sunset Park. The project includes: - Installation of approximately 300 linear feet of new asphalt pathways - Path width: 5 feet minimum - Compliance with ADA accessibility standards per 2018 Illinois Accessibility Code and ADA Standards for Accessible Design. - Connection to existing park features such as parking, playground, grill, pavilion, and beach - Site grading, base preparation, and restoration of disturbed areas 4. Main Scope of Work includes the creation of ADA compliant pathways at Sunset Park leading from the parking lot to the playground, grill, pavilion, and beach. - Site preparation and clearing, including the marking of potential underground utilities - Grading and sub-base installation using best practices recommended by NAPA - Asphalt paving Medium Load (minimum 2.5" compacted thickness) - Installation of asphalt ADA-compliant ramps and transitions - Erosion control and site restoration - Final inspection and punch list completion Secondary Scope of Work includes removing gravel along the walkway by the boat ramp, filling in low areas with dirt removed when preparing the path and grade.
