Site work for a mixed-use development in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project involves the construction of a Pavilion with restrooms and concession stand, including site work, sanitary and water utility installation, and electrical and plumbing facilities. All Work for this project is located at First Responder's Park in Hanover Township, Northampton County, PA. Questions Due Date Online Portal Deadline to submit Questions Aug 22nd 2025, 4:00 PM EDT Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the required form, certified check, bank cashier's check, or other security acceptable, to the Owner in the amount of 10% of the total Base Bid. Bids will be effective for 60 calendar days from the Bid opening date except as permitted by law and may not be withdrawn during this period. Bidders must Bid on all items listed on the Bid Form. This project is funded through grants by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority. This Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions. This Project is subject to the Federal Occupational Safety & Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions. This Project is subject to Pennsylvania Act 287 of 1974, as amended by Act 172 of 1986, as amended by Act 38 of 1991, as amended by Act 187 of 1996, as amended by Act 181 of 2006. This Project is subject to the Trade Practices Act of July 23, 1968, P.L. 686 (81 P.S. 773.101 et seq.) This Project is subject to the Public Works Employment Verification Act. This Contract is subject to Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 conditions. This Contract is subject to the non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions. Hanover Township reserves the right at its option to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all of Bids and to accept or reject any or all parts of the Bids which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township. The Work within this Section includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all equipment, labor and materials, and performing all operations necessary to erect the formwork as specified in accordance with the Specifications, applicable Drawings and Contract Documents. The Work within this Section includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all equipment, labor and materials, and performing all operations necessary to provide and install reinforcement as specified in accordance with the Specifications, applicable Drawings and Contract Documents. The Work within this Section includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all equipment, labor and materials and performing all operations necessary to provide and place concrete as specified in accordance with the Specifications, applicable Drawings and Contract Documents A. The Work within this Section includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all equipment, labor and materials, and performing all operations necessary to provide and install flashing and sheet metal as specified in accordance with the Specifications, applicable Drawings and Contract Documents. B. This Section applies to all flashing and sheet metal required for all roofs, walls, siding and masonry units. A. The Work within this Section includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all equipment, labor and materials and performing all operations necessary to providing and installing steel doors and frames, in accordance with the Specifications, applicable Drawings and Contract Documents. B. Extent of standard steel doors and frames is indicated and scheduled on Project Drawings. C. Door hardware is specified in Section 08 17 00. D. Building in of anchors and grouting of frames in masonry construction consistent with industry standards and framing Manufacturer's recommendations. E. All exterior doors and frames must be weather proof. A. The Work within this Section includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all equipment, labor and materials, and performing all operations necessary to provide and install finish hardware as specified in accordance with the Specifications, applicable Drawings and Contract Documents. B. Types of finish hardware required include the following: 1. Hinges 2. Lock cylinders and keys 3. Lock and latch sets 4. Door trim units 5. Escutcheons 6. Weather stripping for exterior doors 7. Thresholds 8. Door bottoms 9. Door closers 10. Kick plates 11. Wall stops 12. Push plates 13. Pull plates C. Manufacturer - Obtain each type of hardware (latch and lock sets, hinges, etc.) from a single Manufacturer, although several may be indicated as offering products complying with requirements. D. Supplier - A recognized architectural finish hardware supplier, with warehousing facilities, who has been furnishing hardware in the project's vicinity for a period of not less than 2 years, and who is, or who employs an experienced Architectural Hardware Consultant who is available, at reasonable times during the course of the Work, for consultation about the project's hardware requirements to Owner, Engineer, and Contractor.
