Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The scope of work includes approximately 2,600 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, 60 Tons of Binder course, 90 Tons of Superpave WMA scratch course, 2,600 square yards of Superpave WMA wearing course, base repairs, keyway milling, structure adjustments to grade, line striping, maintenance and protection of traffic, and all necessary appurtenances for said construction, in the Borough of Sharpsburg. The project also includes four Add Alternatives consisting of a total of approximately 3,100 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, 130 Tons of Superpave WMA scratch course, 3,100 square yards of Superpave WMA wearing and all other necessary appurtenances for said construction. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Sharpsburg to guarantee the bidders entrance into the contract if given the award. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding
