Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a 1,700-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and 650-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

The scope of work includes the installation of approximately 650 square feet of sidewalk, the installation of asphalt overlay and acrylic sports coating on a basketball court, about 600 linear feet of fencing and over 1,700 square feet of poured-in-place rubber surfacing on a concrete spray pad, repair to spray pad vault, installation of new service line for spray pad, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Sharpsburg to guarantee the bidders entrance into the contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes or ordinances. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply. Bidders will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
