The selected firm(s) will assist the City in serving as the City's Utility Engineer, providing Utility Engineering Services and other related duties such as regulatory support, consultation of operations and maintenance, consultation on development projects, plans review for permitting relating to engineering, compliance review, inspections, master plan and policy review, project bidding, and project administration. Utility Engineering Services may include, but not limited to, planning and engineering, design, project management, construction engineering and management, for the following: Water Utility System Engineering & Review: Services for Water System Analysis, Water Infrastructure improvements and expansion, review of Engineering and Development Plans for facilities such as Wells, Towers, Water Distribution Systems, System Analysis Reports, or any combination of these or similar services. Wastewater System Engineering & Review: Services for Wastewater System Analysis, Infrastructure improvements and expansion, review of Engineering and Development Plans for facilities such as Lift Stations, Wastewater Collection System, System Analysis Reports, or any combination of these or similar services. Water and Wastewater Master Plan Review: Provide review and guidance for Third-Party prepared Master Plans. Water and Wastewater Capital Improvement Program Review: Review of planned Utility improvements for both short-term Capital Planning and long-term Capital Planning. Water and Wastewater Operational Review: Review of the operations of the Water and Wastewater Division, including Conveyance Systems, Well and Water Tower Operations, and the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Utility Rate Structures: Services for analysis, design, or review of the City's Utility Rate Structure. Utility Engineering Administrative Services: Services for analysis, design, or review of Policies, Procedures, Laws, or Best Practices, related to Municipal Utility Administration.
