As of August 27, 2025. Project was awarded to Wren Works LLC in the amount of 548,940.20. Douglas County Forestry Department in Douglas County, Wisconsin is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the Trail 2 State Hwy 105 Pokegama Bridge project. The work under this project shall consist of construction of 560LF of trail construction, installation of piles, installation of abutment walls, and installation of a 125 long steel bridge. All other items and incidental work necessary to complete the project scope as shown on the plans and specifications are incidental to the project. This project is funded by grants from the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The bidder's attention is called to the requirement of the Davis Bacon, to which the Contractor and Sub Contractors must adhere. Douglas County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept bids most advantageous to Douglas County. Douglas County encourages contractors to use the DBE enterprises as subcontractors where appropriate.
