The City of Alma is Requesting Sealed Bids for the Following Project: Repair of Two City-owned Retaining Walls Located on Second Street in the City Beginning at 609 N Second to 603 N Second and 509 N Second to 501 N Second Street. Repairs Should Include but Are Not Limited to Removal of Existing Damaged Face Portion of Bricks on Upper Portion of Each Wall Insertion of Drain Tiles and Soil Nails on Upper Portion of Each Wall Rebuilding or Repairing of Existing Stairways Spray Finishing of Shotcrete on Entire Project Erecting of Safety Railing on Top of Each Wall Seeding of Finished Landscaped Project The Bids Shall Include All Costs to Furnish and Supply the Materials Including Labor, Materials, and Equipment Necessary to Complete the Project as Well as Engineered Plans and Providing a Performance Bond. Anyone With Questions Should Contact City Foreman Joe Wick at Alma City Hall, (608) 685-3330. Job Completion Should Be by November 1, 2025. The City of Alma Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Accept the Bid Deemed Most Advantageous to the City.
