The City of Sequim, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, seeks statements of interest and qualifications from firms or individuals with the following Professional Services expertise and credentials: Engineer. The City is seeking a qualified consultant to provide professional services for the design of a new booster pump station, new water main on Reservoir Road, and a new water pressure zone in the southwest portion of the City. The new pressure zone would serve approximately 2,400 new equivalent residential units (ERUs) and would provide water service improvements to existing residential and commercial development, totalling approximately 3,300 ERUs. See attachment A - Reservoir Rd Booster Station Tech Memo for further details. Questions, Further Information, City Reservation of Rights: Questions about this RFQ can be directed to the City Contact in writing. The City of Sequim in its sole discretion reserves the right to terminate this RFQ process or modify the terms of this RFQ at any time. In no event will the City or any of its officers, officials, or employees be liable for or otherwise obligated to reimburse responding firms or individuals for any costs incurred in preparation of their statement of qualifications. By responding to this RFQ, Consultants are certifying that they have read and understand the scope of services described, and agree that they are able to competently perform them. All submittals received become the property of the City of Sequim. All City records may be subject to public disclosure unless they fall under a recognized exemption. The City of Sequim selection team will place strong emphasis on a firm's ability to meet the schedule of deliverables outlined below. The selected consultant will be expected to complete final plans and specifications in accordance with the project schedule shown below. The Consultant is permitted to propose an alternative schedule provided that it concludes earlier than the minimum schedule provided below. All Permits Obtained 06/2026 Preliminary Design Plans 06/2026 Prepare Bid Documents 08/2026 Award Construction Contract 10/2026 Begin Construction 01/2027 Complete Construction 12/2027 Project Operational 02/2028. Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria: 1. Qualifications (Expertise of firm, including any subconsultants). (30%) 2. Relevant project experience (25%) 3. Ability to meet schedule. (25%) 4. Project approach. (20%) . The City complies with state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination on the basis of any protected status. Submittals including all requested information must be received by the City no later than the Response Deadline. Submittals received after that date and time will be rejected without review. Submittals that arrive on time, but are incomplete, will be rejected at the City's discretion. It is the responding firm/individual's responsibility to confirm the City's receipt. The submittal must be no larger than 10 pages and must not exceed 10MB. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
