All work shall be completed no later than April 1, 2026 Onondaga County is expanding their Marina to add more dock space and to update utilities, the bath house, parking, lighting, pathways and landscaping. The entire marina is also going to be dredged/excavated to a depth of 9.0'. Most of this work will be addressed in a bid that will be separate from this project. This project is for the creation of new main docks, fingers, gangways and modifications to existing docks. The modification and integration of old docks to new will be done by the awarded installer and is not the responsibility of this bidder. A survey of the existing docks and gangways was performed to evaluate the condition and potential for reuse. The selected vendor is responsible for the manufacturing, delivery and supervision of the installation of all new docks and gangways. This work will include the design of the integration of new fingers to existing sections of wood frame main dock and all hardware associated with as described in the drawings. There are three (3) areas of modification to the existing A-Wall main dock that was reconfigured to accommodate the new gangway locations. Furthermore, there are three (3) transition docks that will integrate to the 8.0' wide dock sections included in this project, which will include hardware to attach to existing wood frame dock. This work should also include embedments for the concrete abutments that receive the gangways. The dock piles and mooring pile locations are required and GPS coordinates for locating. Dock manufacturer is responsible for delivery. The marina dock work is defined by the following: o A-Wall approximately - 520.0' long by 8.0' wide. o New ADA gangways, Replace all 44.0' long finger docks (12) with new.
