B, Airway Heights, WA 99001; 509-744-0245; enheng@msn.com The proposed work includes: The design/sizing, furnishing, and installing new generators at the following locations: City Hall (100kW), Craig Rd. Well (500kW), Lehn Rd. Well (200kW), City Maint. Bldg. (45kW), and the Wastewater Treatment Plant (750kW). Included shall be automatic transfer switches (ATS's), conduit & wiring from switch gears to ATS's and from the ATS's to the new generators along with the removal of 2 existing generators, various core drilling, installation of new conduits, wiring, disconnects, excavation/trenching, gravel, concrete pads, fencing, and various other incidentals. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent of the amount of such proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner. The City of Medical Lake, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
