Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Harlingen, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
As of 9/22/2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award was not determined. A proposal security in the form of a certified cashier's check or bid bond issued by a certified surety company in the amount of 5% of the proposal shall accompany the proposal at the time of bid. Bid bond submission shall include the original certificate with embossed corporation seal. Failure to include the stamped corporation seal shall result in the rejection of the bid. No photocopies of the surety bond stamped corporation seal will be allowed. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. Performance and Payment Bonds are not required for bids under $50,000.00. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity, and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Specifications must be paid on this project. The Harlingen Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Harlingen Housing Authority.
