Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) is seeking firm(s)/individual(s) to conduct work detailed in the SCOPE OF WORK. The Resource Conservation District of Tehama County will be the sponsor and Sierra Pacific Industries is the manager for the project This work is roughly 3.31 miles of fire line biomass chipping. During the Dixie fire this fire line was created along the L-line. The plan is to chip the trees and biomass that was cut and pushed up against the residual trees on the edge of the fire line Work is expected to begin promptly after the contract has been executed, on a date agreed upon by SPI and the contractor. Some aspects of this contract are season-dependent, such as use of heavy equipment in inclement weather or on excessively wet soils, during Red Flag days, or during Limited Operating Periods (LOP). All Tasks must be completed by December 31st, 2025. RCDTC is serving as the fiscal agent.
