Renovation of a mixed-use development in Murray, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium; and educational facility.

Responsible General or Demolition Contractors who have proper experience, equipment, and qualifications are invited to bid on this work. These factors will be considered in the Award of Contract and all work will be performed under the standard regulations for construction of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The project is for the Phase III Expo Center Renovations. Project consists of selective demolition of facility restrooms including toilet partitions, finishes, ceilings, plumbing fixtures, mechanical equipment, and lighting fixtures. Project also include the installation of concrete masonry unit walls, hollow metal door and frames, acoustic ceiling panel system, rubber wall base, interior painting, toilet partitions and accessories, new plumbing fixtures, new mechanical equipment and new lighting fixtures. Substantial completion shall be 90 calendar days from the Start Date stated in the written Purchase Order. Final completion shall be 120 calendar days from the Start Date stated in the written Purchase Order. BONDING All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instruction to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Questions about obtaining plans and specifications may be directed to Beth Ward @ lward10@murraystate.edu. Only those Prime Contractors who have obtained Plans and Bid Documents directly from Lynn Imaging will be eligible to submit a bid for this project. Murray State University, Procurement Services, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the University may be served. There is no fee for an electronic download of the plans for contractors. Contractors who wish to obtain paper copies of the plans should contact Lynn Imaging to make these arrangements. Printing fees are the responsibility of the contractor. Fees for plan rooms wishing to have drawings are posted on the Lynn Imaging page. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Clerical errors and omissions in the computation of the lump sum shall not be cause for withdrawal of the bid without forfeiture of bid bond. Bids may be withdrawn in person only, prior to the closing date for receipt of bids. QA date - 15 August 2025 Questions about obtaining plans and specifications may be directed to Beth Ward @lward10@murraystate.edu. All questions regarding the meaning or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall be directed in writing to the Purchasing Agent. Questions received less than ten (10) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids may not be answered.
