Murray State University is seeking a contractor to provide new wall padding for it baseball facility per the attached specifications. Pad Color shall be Navy Blue – Final color selection approved by Murray State University Pads to be installed no lower than 6” above ground level Pads to be installed on Chain Link Fence System Pads to include field dimensions for LF, LF Gap, CF, RF Gap and RF Pads to include a minimum of one (1) Missouri Valley Conference Logo and one (1) Murray State University logo, (2) Nike Logos – Full color Pads will also incorporate Championships, NCAA Appearances and CWS Appearances with appropriate logos for each – full color and one pad with the number 36 and Reagan below the number. Pads to include a home run strip along the top of the pad Provide foul line and distance markers Estimated footage for baseball is 675’ of total fencing to be addressed. One section of the field will use post padding only to leave an open area for viewing. The attached diagrams show the areas requiring full pads in blue and those with open padding in red. Dimensions may be confirmed at the site visit. The University will provide access to the fields for bidders to take field measurements and review existing conditions for mounting. Bidders are responsible for all final measurements used in bidding. Bidders who do not attend the site visit for confirmation of dimensions will be held responsible for their estimates. Changes will not be made to the contract for errors in estimating. • Bidders should provide all necessary equipment and labor for all portions of the work to be performed.
