Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Cassopolis, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The work for which bids are being requested consists of the following: Contract Culvert removal and replacement, riprap, roadway grading, aggregate base, guardrail, and restoration. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. Doc note : The Advertisement for Bids, online all Addenda, and the Bid Tabulation will also be posted on the Wightman website bidding page at online. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged.
