Demolition, site work and renovation of a civil project in Burleson, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of October 23, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 15, 2025.** Expansion of Industrial Blvd. pump station and the decommissioning of Alsbury Blvd pump station. The project includes, but is not limited to: ~4,800SF Pump Station Building, three (3) 5,000 gpm horizontal split case pumps and 400 HP motors, one (1) 2 Million Gallon prestressed concrete ground storage tank, one (1) City of Fort Worth wholesale meter station, yard piping and other site improvements, ~1,200 LF offsite 24-inch water line, electrical system including a 1,500 kW emergency generator and controls, demolition of existing Alsbury Pump Station, and demolition of existing Industrial Park Blvd Pump Station. A. Extent of each type of toilet accessory is indicated on drawings and schedules. B. Types of toilet and shower accessories required include the following: Toilet tissue dispenser Paper towel dispenser waste receptacle Grab bars Soap dispenser Wall mirrors A. The work shall include providing materials and equipment required for installation of complete and functioning electrical system as specified and as shown on the drawings. B. This section is an integral part of all Specification Sections related to electrical, control and instrumentation construction under this contract. Conditions of this section are paramount to all other conditions in applicable sections and shall supercede all other conditions and requirements. C. Electrical Control and Instrumentation Plans & Specifications are representative of the design intent and may not contain minute details normally associated with normally accepted electrical construction, as described in applicable codes or as described in manufacturer's literature. Contractor shall provide all appurtenances normally associated with a particular equipment or device, and as required for a properly operating system. A. Description of Work: 1. Furnish and install all components and accessories for a complete cable tray system as shown on plans. 2. Contractor to coordinate and verify no routing conflicts exist from other equipment such as ducts, structural supports, water pipes, or other devices. Adjust cable tray routing to avoid conflicts and submit revised plan for approved prior equipment purchase. A. The work governed by these drawings and contract documents is located in the 35 city of Burleson, Texas and consists of the Industrial Park Blvd Pump Station 36 Expansion and Alsbury Pump Station Decommissioning including all necessary 37 appurtenances. The major work will consist of an approximately 4,800 SF pump station 38 building, three (3) 5,000 gpm horizontal split case pumps and 400 HP motors, one (1) 2 39 million gallon prestressed concrete ground storage tank, one City of Fort Worth wholesale 40 meter station, yard piping and other site improvements, approximately 1,200 LF offsite 24- 41 inch water main, electrical improvements including a 1,500 kW emergency generator and 42 controls, demolition of existing Alsbury Pump Station, and demolition of existing 43 Industrial Park Blvd Pump Station. All scope of work shall be installed complete and 44 in place as outlined within the Contract Documents, Specifications and Drawings. B. The intent of the Contract Documents, including the Standard Specifications, 2 Special Provisions & Projects, and other instruments, documents, drawings and 3 maps comprising the Plans and Specifications, is to describe the completed work 4 to be performed by the Contractor under the contract as an independent 5 Contractor. 6 7 C. Horizontal and vertical control, if available, will be provided by the City prior to 8 construction. Construction staking will be the responsibility of the contractor. 9 No separate pay item is included for construction staking. The work will be 10 performed subject to the right of inspection by the City or its authorized 11 representative. Any provision of the agreement vesting in the City, the right of 12 supervision or inspection is understood by all the parties to be for the purpose of 13 ensuring that the plans and specifications are complied with and that the 14 completed work is obtained as described, and no such provision shall be 15 interpreted as vesting in the City the right to control the details of the work. 16 17 D. The Contractor shall maintain at all times on the job site, a superintendent 18 authorized to receive and execute instructions from the engineer. 19 20 E. The Contractor shall employ only competent, efficient workmen and shall not use 21 on the work any unfit person or one not skilled in the work assigned to him; and 22 shall at all times maintain good order among his employees. 23 24 F. The City shall inform the Contractor in writing that, in his opinion, any employee 25 is unfit, unskilled, disobedient or is disrupting the orderly progress of the work; 26 such employee shall be removed from the work and shall not again be employed 27 on it. 28 29 G. Under urgent circumstances, the City may orally require immediate removal of an 30 employee for cause, to be followed by written confirmation.
