**As of October 09, 2025, the project was awarded to FAI-GON ELECTRIC INC., with an awarded amount of $1,135,976.82.** The Easton Avenue Pedestrian Access project aims to enhance pedestrian safety and welfare at the pedestrian underpass on Easton Avenue in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The scope of work includes the installation of six new light poles and a protective fence along the roadway to improve visibility and safeguard pedestrian movement. Electrical conduits will be routed to service the new lighting infrastructure, with associated replacement of the existing sidewalk and roadway as required. The project encompasses architectural, structural, civil, electrical, and lighting disciplines. All work must be performed during the night shift between the hours of 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.
