Description

Demolition, remodeling and renovation of an educational facility in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.

The base bid includes all work identified in the drawings and specifications, including but not limited to the installation of new casework, new wall and ceiling finishes, new countertops, new equipment (including ASHRAE testing), and HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work in Labs 114, 115, 116, 212, and 213. It also includes the complete demolition of Basement Lab 015 (with asbestos abatement by Rutgers), painting of the existing ceiling, and installation of new light fixtures in Lab 015. Additionally, walls above the existing glazed CMU will be painted, new flooring will be provided, and new casework, wall and ceiling finishes, countertops, new equipment (including ASHRAE testing), HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work will be installed in Basement Lab 015.
