Requests for Information Due to District AUGUST 15, 2025 @ 1:00 PM Notice of Intent to Award AUGUST 29, 2025 Board Approval of Contract Award SEPTEMBER 09, 2025 Award Notification SEPTEMBER 12, 2025 Notice to Proceed OCTOBER 03, 2025 Start Date: Construction OCTOBER 06, 2025 Substantial Completion NOVEMBER 06, 2026 Contract Completion (Closeout) FEBRUARY 05, 2027 Project scope includes but is not limited to tenant improvements: relocate Police Administrative Services (new dispatch, break room, office spaces, utility rooms, single-occupant restroom/shower etc.) to the 1st floor. Site Improvements: New accessible parking, upgraded path of travel to the police administrative building entrance and bicycle parking. New natural gas generator, chain link fencing with privacy slats and associated site work as shown in the project documents for a complete and operational project. Work to be performed during normal business hours. All forms must be completed, signed, and returned with the bid. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the receipt of bids. The successful bidder shall file a payment bond issued by an admitted Surety authorized to conduct business in the State of California approved by the District. A performance bond will also be required. The successful bidder and all subcontractor(s) shall comply with all applicable Labor Code provisions, which include, but are not limited to, the payment of not less than the required prevailing rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the Contract, the employment of apprentices, the hours of labor and the debarment of contractors and subcontractors. This Contract is subject to prequalification pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6. Disabled Veteran Contractors are encouraged to submit bids. This bid is subject to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise requirements. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the following classifications: CLASS "B". No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the California Business and Profession Code at the time the bid is submitted. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding process.
