**As of September 4, 2025, the project was awarded to Everlast Blacktop Inc, with an awarded amount of $73,786.29** The work shall consist of pavement removal, removal and replacement of PCC sidewalk and PCC curbing, HMA patching, and associated restoration and traffic control. This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number B24-UC-17-0007 awarded to the City of Marengo by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development - Community Development Block Grant Program. The CONTRACTOR further agrees to pay Liquidated Damages for each consecutive calendar day after the date of final completion that the work is not complete and to the satisfaction of the OWNER and ENGINEER / ARCHITECT. The amount of Liquidated Damages will be equal to the amount of monetary damage the OWNER is sustaining as a result of the project not being complete, which will include all professional and administrative costs. Question Deadline 08/15/2025 at 1:00 PM CT as per ADDA 1. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the ENGINEER / ARCHITECT in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda. Questions received less than five (5) calendar days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
