Inquiry Period: Written questions from prospective bidders are to be received in the online procurement portal.:August 21, 2025, 2:00pm Work could include, but not be limited to the following: 1. Cyclic activities Vegetation control General cleaning and power washing Cleaning drains to ensure they are functional Expansion joint cleaning Sealing and waterproofing Joints sealing 2. As-needed basis Fix defects as they occur or are discovered Concrete repair (removing loose concrete, patching, plinth repair, etc.) Expansion joint repair and replacement Bridge Connection replacement and tightening Cleaning and lubricating bearings Check and tighten and/or replace bolts Coating corroded elements of bridges Sign installation (vertical clearance, Identification signs, etc.) Erosion repair Utility attachment repair (ground wires, lights. etc.) Fence replacement Protection barriers, and urgent work needed on roadway bridges affecting rail, including bridges owned by other entities Subject to the Termination provision of the Contract, performance shall commence as of the Effective Date (or in the event that RTD provides a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor, the Period of Performance shall commence on the date of the Notice to Proceed) and shall continue for 3 years (subject to the exercise of any option periods). The Bidder must enclose with the bid its bid security (e.g., Bidder's bond or certified check) in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, which the Bidder agrees is to be paid to and become the property of RTD, as partial liquidated damages, should the bid be accepted and Contract awarded and the Bidder fails to enter into the Contract in the form prescribed and/or to furnish the required bonds and insurance certificates within ten days after Contract award.
