Reference Number 0000421531 Bid Intent Not Available The City is requesting proposals from qualified general contractors to perform pre-construction phase services and construction phase services under the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) project delivery method for the construction of the Loveland Transit Center Building - Phase 2 on the Loveland Transit Center campus located at 350 West 37th Street, Loveland, Colorado. The LTC Building Project will include the construction of a new facility of approximately 6,000 SF to accommodate a central waiting room connection to both sides of the platform and to the bus bay transit shelters, public restrooms, transit staff offices, and operational support space for the Public Works Department Transit Division and generally includes the following: Approximately 6,000 SF sprinklered two-story building in the center of the existing Transit Center bus island. The scope of work generally includes, but is not limited to, excavation and earthwork; sitework and underground utility relocation; foundation; exterior wall systems; framing and drywall; rough and finish carpentry; thermal and moisture protection; doors and windows; interior and exterior finishes; plumbing and HVAC; electrical including low voltage; access control systems; fire protection; elevator/lift; and site improvements; Anticipated structural systems for the Building will include masonry wall systems with interior steel framed partitions, conventional structural steel and composite deck systems. Lobby walls are anticipated to consist of a curtainwall glazing system. All new foundations will be required. Site improvements include, but are not limited to, utility improvements including sanitary sewer ejector station, natural gas service, and concrete paving improvements. Sanitary sewer service, water and fire service, and electric and fiber optic lines have been stubbed to the inside of the curb line of the existing bus island. The following site plan shows the general location of the proposed improvements on the campus.
