Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Seagrove, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This contract is for the replacement of Bridge No. 305 over Meadow Creek on SR 2863 (Union Grove Church Road) in Randolph County. This work shall consist of removal of the existing structure; clearing and grubbing; excavation and embankment; placement of substructure and superstructure; furnishing and installing concrete cored slabs; grading within limits of the project; placement of rip rap; temporary erosion control; seeding and mulching; drainage; roadway base course and pavement; installation of guardrail; and all other incidental items necessary to complete the project as specified and shown on the plans The date of availability for this contract is the date the Contractor begins work but not before October 1, 2025, or later than January 1, 2026. The completion date for this contract is one hundred eighty (180) days after completing Intermediate Contract Time Number 1.
