The City of Cairo is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a new restroom facility and pavilion at Holder Park. The work includes, but is not limited to: concrete slab foundations, masonry block walls, engineered trusses, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and all associated labor, materials, and equipment necessary for a complete and functional structure. The project is based on plans and specifications modeled after Azalea Park and includes, but is not limited to, the following: Pavilion Construction: - 27' x 44' structural red iron frame -11' height with 26 Ga. PBR metal roofing - Concrete slab: 31' x 48' x 4" (4000 psi) with 18" x 24" continuous footer and 4 column piers - Broom finish with diagonal saw cuts - Gutters, downspouts, soffits, and metal fascia Restroom Building: - 23'4" x 20' x 4" 4000 psi slab - Tinted split-face concrete block (exterior and interior) - Metal roofsystem with soffits and drainage Interior and Utilities: - Engineered truss package and plywood ceiling - CDX roof decking and interior roof insulation - Masonry and epoxy paint finishes - (3) ADA toilets, (1) urinal, (2) lavatories, (4) floor drains - Plumbing lines extended 5' beyond structure - Exhaust fans and ducting (HVAC) - Electrical: receptacles, LED lighting, meter base, and service panel - Bathroom accessories and signage Optional Add-on: Installation of 8' Big Fan (include as alternate line item) Minimum Requirements: Contractors must provide proof of required insurance coverage (General Liability, Workers' Compensation, and others as outlined in the bid documents). Bid bond may be required based on bid amount and contracting terms. Contractor must be licensed and in good standing with the State of Georgia.
