New York City College of Technology Pearl Building 6th Floor Renovation and Asbestos Abatement *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available. DASNY is soliciting a bid for New Your College of Technology - Pearl Building 6th Floor Renovation - and Asbestos Abatement project. This will be a single prime general construction contract. This is a renovation of offices, classrooms, building of two new computer labs, one chemistry laboratory classroom and bathrooms on the 6th Floor of this building. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: Floor-wide abatement 2. Selective demolition of walls, abandoned reheat coils and associated hot water piping 3. Refresh all finishes 4. New walls and floors 5. New doors and ceilings 6. New lighting and new power receptacles 7. New plumbing fixtures 8. New signage 9. HVAC ductwork to be adapted to the new layout 10. Replacement of duct work as needed 11. Replacement of air diffusers and perimeter radiators 12. New VAVs across the floor 13. New fume hoods at chemistry lab and associated new roof fans 14. Provide connections to serve the new IT/AV equipment 15 New security cameras and card readers across the floor 16. Replace sprinkler pipe and sprinkler heads All individuals who plan to attend pre-bid meetings or bid openings in person will be required to present government-issued picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitors pass prior to attending the bid opening.
