Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT or the Department) desires to obtain a Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) as part of the delivery of a multi-discipline project which includes replacing Bridge No. 640021 on U.S. 76 (Causeway Drive) and Bridges Nos. 640022 and 640024 on U.S. 74 (West Salisbury Street) in Wrightsville Beach, New Hanover County. The Department has secured the design resources necessary and will provide the project design team to work with the CM/GC during the preconstruction and construction phases. The CM/GC will not be required to be prequalified to provide responses to the RFLOI. If shortlisted, the CM/GC will be required to be prequalified in order to submit responses to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ).
