NYDOT - West Shore Expressway-arthur Kill Road Park & Ride With Truck Parking. *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability. This Project Will Develop a Parking Facility in Richmond County, Located Between West Shore Expressway, Arthur Kill Road, and Veterans Road East. The Facility Will Include Approximately 200 Park-and-ride Spaces for Commuters and a Parking Area of 15 to 20 Spaces for Commercial Truck Drivers To Meet Usdot Hours of Operation Requirements. The Facility Will Also Include Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, Auxiliary Power for Trucks, Bike Parking, Sustainable Drainage Elements and a Butterfly Garden.
