Renovation of a water / sewer project in Lahaina, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the furnishing of all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the plans and these specifications. Last Day to Submit Questions/Clarification: August 29, 2025 (4:30 PM HST) Questions: Project questions/inquiries must be submitted in writing or emailed to DWS.Engineering@co.maui.hi.us Bidders shall possess a valid General Engineering A Contractor's License, which shall be valid at the time of bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid security in amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount total sum bid, including additives, payable to the County of Maui, and in compliance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended. Bidders are required to comply with the newest procurement code Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 103D, any rules and regulations and policy directives issued with respect to Chapter 103D, and any amendments thereof. The project involves furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment as necessary to remove and replace existing 0.1 MG steel backwash tank, construct a temporary 94,000 gallon backwash tank with associated grading and remove and install approximately 435 LF of existing chain link fencing and associated fence posts, in place complete.
