Renovation of a municipal facility in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Contract No. 2-Electrical Construction: Consisting of removing 38 existing exterior wall sconces on two buildings on campus and replacement with new LED wall sconces including all wiring and connections necessary to provide operational light fixtures. All bids shall conform to the Contract Documents prepared by The EADS Group, Inc., 450 Aberdeen Drive, Somerset, PA 15501 and dated July 2025. Questions are to be submitted in writing to Gregory Elliott, RLA at The EADS Group, Inc. or by email to gelliott@eadsarchitects.com. Successful bidders will be required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations and complete all work within one hundred (100) consecutive calendar days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check made payable to AMTRAN in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Contractors are encouraged to use minority business enterprises as subcontractors whenever feasible. All applicable Federal Requirements will apply. AMTRAN reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept or reject any part of any bid. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish satisfactory insurance certificates and Performance and Payment Bonds.
