Second Low Bidder, Dan Obert is an individual contractor. This project is funded by the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program and the WI DNR Municipal Flood Control Program. To meet grant deadlines, demolition and site restoration of this property should be completed by October 24, 2025, with invoice and landfill receipt submitted to Amy Oliver no later than November 1, 2025. There is limited flexibility if the weather impacts the desired timeline; however, the selected contractor must work with Amy to establish an extension that fits within the grant requirements. The structures have been inspected for asbestos, and the results were negative. The proposal includes the demolition of a manufactured home, rec building, pole-shed garage, and pump house, site restoration of the disturbed areas, and abandonment of well and septic (2 septic holding tanks). In addition, sidewalks, concrete (cabin floor), and gravel (driveway and garage floor) are to be removed. Only remove trees if they interfere with the demolition of the structure(s). Review the attached FEMA Demolition Requirements (Attachment C) for further details.
