The Town of Whitestown in Vernon County, WI, is accepting bids for gravel, seal coat, and hot mix for the summer of 2026. Bids must be sealed and indicate the category ("gravel", "hot mix", or "seal coat") on the outside of the envelope. Gravel bids should include 3/4" gravel, 1% "gravel", 3" minus breaker run, and screenings, delivered and spread or stockpiled at the town shop, with all products meeting State of WI DOT specifications. Hot mix bids should specify the price per ton for approximately 300 tons of hot mix wedging to be completed by August 31 on various town roads. Seal coating bids should state the price per mile for single hard seal and double seal over gravel, 20' width, with specified quantities of asphalt and chips per mile, and all seal coating to be completed by August 31, 2026. The town reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the town.
