Annual Preventative Maintenance and Quarterly Inspections are required for eight emergency power generators located at USDA-ARS JWDSRC in Stoneville, Mississippi. The generators include four Caterpillar models (IS08528, SR4B, 3412, LC6), three Kohler models (100RE0ZJE, 80R0ZJ81, 60RE0ZJC), and one Cummins model (C125 D6C). The contract spans one base year with four option years, totaling five years. Services include full annual maintenance such as oil and filter changes, coolant analysis, fuel system checks, battery inspections, control panel diagnostics, and operational testing as well as quarterly inspections involving walk-around assessments, diagnostic software checks, and reporting. Emergency service is available 24/7, including holidays. All work must be performed by qualified technicians during standard hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.), with separate labor rates for overtime. Contractors must use bio-based products where feasible and submit a site-specific safety plan within 14 days of award. Coordination with USDA personnel is required for scheduling, and all work must minimize disruption to facility operations. Damage to government property must be repaired at the contractors expense. Contractors must be registered in SAM.gov prior to bidding.
