Sealed bids from Contractors for the "Paint Exterior of East Building (EOHLC 150502)" project, W.J. Brown Memorial Court (667-1), 155 Marble Street, Lee, Massachusetts The Project consists of: Repainting the exterior of the east side building of the development. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Lee Housing Authority. Question Deadline 08/15/2025: Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Architect. The Architect will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids. A. The Work of the Contract consists of: o Scrape and prime the exterior building trim, walkways, rails & stairs. o Repair or replace exisDng damaged or decayed wood at walkways and trim with new materials to match exisDng size and profile. o Rough carpentry as required to perform restoraDon of wood trim and decking. o Clean-up of the work and site as required. o Any and all Work, whether or not indicated, occurring in parts of the building other than the scheduled unit which may be required to successfully complete the scheduled Work . o Patching, and touching up in connecDon with the Work. o RestoraDon to at the this Project's pre-condiDon of: o Any items damage or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside of the Project Site. o Any of the Site's exisDng condiDons not indicated for modificaDon, but which may be damaged or destroyed by this Project's operaDons. o Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the specificaDons unless specifically indicated not to be done. o Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. o Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary faciliDes. o Indicated work. o Incidental work (whether-or-not indicated) which is required for compleDon of all indicated Work.
