Renovation of a library in North Haven, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a library.

As of 9/12/2025 No bids were received. North Haven Memorial Library Renovations - Flooring Project This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements. Question Deadline 08/19/2025 at 2:00 AM ET All questions regarding the above solicitation for Bid shall be submitted in writing only to BOTH Richard Monico, Director of Administration and Procurement at monico.richard@northhaven-ct.gov AND Susan 4 Griffiths, Director of Library Services at sgriffiths@northhavenlibrary.net. No inquiries or questions will be accepted after time and date. The Addenda shall be posted on or before Friday, August 22, 2025, close of business day. The General Description and project specifications apply to: Demolition, removal, prep, and installation of new carpet tiles, luxury vinyl tile, cove base and transitions, with labor including lifting library books shelves for installation of carpet tiles under the book stacks. Flooring selections are specified on the Flooring Spec and Pricing Sheet. The Project is paid for in part by State funds provided by the Connecticut State Library, including $249,999.00 of the state bond funds available for this Project, and is thus also subject to the State Program for Public Library Construction and the Town's Grant Agreement with the State Library. Compliance with Connecticut's prevailing wage laws is required. Within five (5) days of receipt of a notice of award, the selected bidder shall sign the contract provided by the Town without alteration or modification. After bids are received, the Department of Finance and Administration will consider the past performance, financial responsibility, and sales and service experience of the vendors. The Town will award a contract, if at all, to the lowest responsible, responsive, and qualified bidder whose bid, conforming with all the material terms and conditions of the invitation for bids, is the lowest in price. The Director of Administration and Procurement reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects in same, or to choose to make purchases other than strictly in accordance with price considerations, and/or to choose other than the lowest bidder, if it is deemed in the best interest of the Town of North Haven.
