City of Sunrise Gas Department is seeking bids from qualified vendors to furnish refurbished or remanufactured gas meters, including diaphragm and rotary meter types for use in City of Sunrise's natural gas distribution system. All meters must meet or exceed applicable AGA standards and be tested, calibrated, and certified prior to delivery. Vendors shall supply refurbished/remanufactured gas meters in the quantities and types listed in the bid table below. All meters must: o Be compatible with standard industry index types (mechanical, odometer type). o Be pressure-tested and certified as leak-free o Include new or equivalent-quality components such as index, seals, gaskets, etc. o Be marked with serial numbers and provided with test results o Use paints compatible with the existing factory finish (Single coat polyester primer with high solids polyurethane topcoat - ANSI 49 Gray). o Meet ANSI B109.1 (diaphragm) or B109.3 (rotary) standards o Include a warranty of not less than one (1) year from delivery Vendors must be able to supply meters on an as needed or blanket order basis. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/RESPONDENTS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE CITY OF SUNRISE STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON. M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process.
