Renovation of a museum in Great Neck, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number stated above, and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-04, effective June 11, 2025. The Solicitation number is 6923G225Q000012 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The combined synopsis/solicitation will result in a fixed price purchase order. This requirement is a total set-aside for small business. Offers received from firms that are not small business concerns shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected (in accordance with FAR 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Aside (Nov 2020) (15 U.S.C. 644) which applies to this solicitation). All responsible small business sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238320 with a small business standard of $19 million. The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) at Kings Point, New York requires the services of a qualified contractor capable of re-painting of the Museum. The Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, material, equipment, transportation, tools and supervision described in this statement of work at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Kings Point, NY 11024. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes based on an acceptable/unacceptable basis to determine if the contractor meets the requirements described in the requirement and past performance of similar size, scope and complexity.
