Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Fort Madison, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

Project consists of a new Pre-Engineered Metal Building for use by the City of Fort Madison for the storage of Public Works vehicles & equipment. Bid Security shall be submitted with each bid as security. The successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid and shall furnish after the award of contract corporate surety bond or bonds, acceptable to the owner, for the faithful performance of the contract in the amount equivalent to 100% of the amount of the contract. Bidders' Questions: Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions received up to two business days prior to conference. All Contractors may obtain a set of construction documents upon delivery of a one hundred ($100) per-set refundable deposit made payable to "City of Fort Madison" but delivered to the Rapids Reproductions Cedar Rapids office. Deposits will be refunded upon return of Plans and Specifications in good condition to Rapids Reproductions within thirty (30) days after bid opening. Postage and handling per set of Plans and Specifications of $20.00 is payable in advance to Rapids Reproduction and is nonrefundable. Online plans are available in .pdf format to view, download, and print. Beware that there is no warranty as to compatibility between the files and your computer hardware and/or software. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. a. Work to Begin on: October 7, 2025 b.
