In accordance with the provision of Section 3300 of the Public Contract Code, at the time this contract is awarded, the Contractor shall possess a Class A California State Contractor's License. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. This contract is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, Section 12990. Each proposal shall be accompanied by cashier’s or certified check or by a bidder’s bond, made payable to the City of Huron and executed as surety by some corporation authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California, for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of said bid and no bid shall be considered unless such cashier’s or certified check or bidder’s bond in enclosed therewith. Only those who have obtained and/or purchased an unmarked set of the Plans and Specifications from the office of the Engineer will be considered eligible Prime Bidders. Interested bidders may obtain an electronic copy of the plans, contract drawings, and specifications at no charge ($0.00) and a paper copy for a non-refundable fee of Seventy-five Dollars ($75.00).
