The project is expected to be awarded on September 04, 2025.** 2025 OPWC JEFFERSON COUNTY ROAD #6-2.1 & 2.2 SLIP REPAIR PROJECT All bids must be accompanied by a BID GUARANTY in the form of (1) A Certified Check, or Revocable Letter of Credit pursuant to Chapter 1305, ORC, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of base bid plus all alternates; or (2) a Bid Bond drawn upon an acceptable Surety Company, for the full amount of the bid plus all alternates, one hundred percent (100%) of the bid, both forms of guaranty as provided in Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code. The successful bidder, upon receipt of the Notice of Acceptance of the bid, must furnish a Performance Bond in an amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the Contract amount, to the Board of Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Ohio, said Bonds to be unconditionally payable to the Board of County Commissioners. Each bid submitted must have a copy of a current Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Certificate of Compliance as evidence that this contractor is certified by the State Equal Employment Opportunity Coordinator. Each bid must also comply with the Affirmative Action requirements as stated in the bid documents. All bidders shall pay particular attention to the rules and regulations of the EQUAL OPPORTUNITY POLICY, and to the AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN, throughout the term of the project. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid during a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening. The Board of Commissioners of the County of Jefferson, State of Ohio, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive all informalities. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by an unsuccessful bidder against the County of Jefferson. Any interpretation of the BID documents will be made by ADDENDUM duly issued.
