Demolition and site work for a residential development in Wichita Falls, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Apparent low bidder: Chad and Brandy Wilson for $62,157 It is the intent of the City of Wichita Falls to award a contract for the demolition, clearing and cleaning for eleven (11) properties located at various locations in Wichita Falls. Contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder for the complete contract. Contractor shall be responsible for all costs associated with demolition to include fill dirt to level the lot to grade., The utilities to the properties have been disconnected, contractor shall be responsible to provide all utilities (i.e. water) as needed for the demolition. Project Location 1102 CORWIN ST 202 FARRIS ST 1502 N 8TH ST 112 PARADISE ST 703 WELCH ST 1307 32ND ST 1410 MITCHELL ST 834 ELWOOD ST 242 E LINCOLN ST 1208 N ROSEWOOD AVE 1400 TRAVIS ST. Demolition, Clearing & Cleaning of 11 Residential Properties Inquiries for additional information shall be directed to Mrs. Jennifer Babineaux, the City of Wichita Falls' Purchasing Agent. All questions regarding this bid shall be submitted in writing via email: Jennifer.Babineaux@wichitafallstx.gov or fax: 940-761-7688. All inquiries must be submitted to the Purchasing Agent no later than 1:30 PM, Friday, August 15, 2025. Answers will be issued in the form of an addendum and posted on the City's website. Please ensure you are registered to receive notifications of postings Online. Successful bidder shall obtain required permits within ten (10) working days of contract award. Project shall START within fourteen (14) working days after contract award and be completed within sixty (60) working days of contract award. Exceptions to this schedule requirement will only be negotiable based upon consultant recommendations and inclement weather which restricts working conditions and will result in extensions on an as required basis. If bidder fails to finish project by said dates, bidder may be liable to the City of Wichita Falls, or may have deducted from funds owed, as liquidated damages one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day per location for each calendar day of delay until the project is completed. REJECTION OF BIDS: a) The City may reject a bid if: 1. The bidder misstates or conceals any material fact in the bid, or if 2. The bidder does not strictly conform to law or the requirements of the bid, or if 3. The bid is conditional, except that the bidder may qualify his bid for acceptance by the City on an "All or None" basis or a "Low item" basis b) The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to accept that offer considered most advantageous to the City. The City may also waive any minor informalities or irregularities in any bid.
